About the Department
Bioscience is study of living organism, which comprises of many disciplines and aims to explore living organisms on different scales. Bioscience uses an integrated approach to living organisms at cellular, biophysical, biochemical, molecular and ultra-molecular level to delineate the complex architecture of living body. The Department of Bioscience was established in 1993 to strengthen research in various fields of biological sciences. The thrust areas in this course include Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biodiversity and Conservation biology.
