A studio for lecture capturing was established at Vijnan Bhavan using the grants received under Institution of Excellence (IoE) and University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) schemes. The lecture capturing system is used to capture various academic deliberations such as lectures, discussions, meetings and student interactions. The recorded events are to be made available to the students in case if they miss out the class for some reasons. The recorded videos help the students to revisit the lecture multiple times to reinforce their understanding of the subjects taught. The state-of-the-art studio facility is open for use to the teaching faculty of the University of Mysore.
