The University of Mysore is one among the State University to offer Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) under SWAYAM Platform. By adopting SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active – Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) – the University of Mysore has become the first University in Karnataka to offer and adopt Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). As per the Direction of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), presently, Ministry of Education, the University of Mysore is established full-fledged SWAYAM –Digital Learning and Monitoring Cell (DLMC) on 21st March, 2018 for adopt, effective implementation and facilitate to students for SWAYAM Courses.
The SWAYAM –Digital Learning and Monitoring Cell (DLMC) headed by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor as the Chairman and Registrar, Registrar (Evaluation), Finance Officer, Director- PMEB, Director- EMRC, Coordinator- ICD, Director- CDC, Deans of all the Faculty are members and University SWAYAM Coordinator as Member Secretary of the cell.
