UOM institutional repository is an archival and dissemination of scholarly publications of the University of Mysore. To facilitate long-term preservation of scholarly work done earlier and pursued in the future and it provides an integrated single entry point to scholarly work of UOM. IR acts as a self-evaluation tool for UoM management. IR can be accessed by anybody but submission of the research documents to archive is limited to the UOM research community only. While archiving the research publications UOM guidelines of SHERPA-RoMEO were followed and IR has defined its policies covering Metadata Policy; Data Policy; Content Policy; Submission Policy and Preservation Policy.
