1 M.A 
 2 years((i) B.A. / B.Sc. /B.Com./B.B.M./B.C.A. of this University or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto.
(ii) Candidates who have passed MUNSHI Examination of Government of Karnataka.
(iii) ADIB-E-KAMIL of Aligarh University and Jamia Aligarh.
(iv) ADEEB-E-FAZIL of University of Madras and University of Calicut.
(v) AALIMIAT course of Nadvathul-Ulema, Lucknow.
2. Ph.D in Urdu -

Selection through Entrance Examination. Elibility as per Univeristy notification and Ph.D regulations prescribed by UGC
