The study is an attempt to put together the views of  fifteen Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) working in the field of Learning Disability (LD) in south India . The purpose of the study is to analyze the relevance of networking in the field of LD for awareness creation and rehabilitation in South India . The report attempts to examine the feasibility, advantages, disadvantages and features of effective networking among the NGOs working for LD in South India .
The focus of this study is on the strategies of networking especially e-networking.  The study argues that problems of such as LD can not be tackled by the NGOs working in isolation since, the problems of such kind are not easily identified.  Further, as noted in the study, there is not common policy regarding young people with learning disability.  Therefore, there is a need for the NGOs working in the field to network and initiate collect action.  The study provides valuable suggestions on strategies for networking and purposes of networking.
